Vulva Art x Crochet. 10,000 Manko-chan Project.

10,000 Manko-chan Project

Make a Manko-chan. Add your face. Join the artwork.

A participatory crochet art project by Megumi Igarashi (Rokudenashiko), the artist behind Manko-chan. The goal is to bring together 10,000 Manko-chans made by people around the world.

“Manko” is Japanese slang for vulva. Here, a crocheted character and its maker’s face become part of a collective artwork.
